It has been a journey to get this cafe up and running! We have been open as a gallery and herb shoppe since Sept 2023; hosting community events, rentals, and offering art n' wellness products from black, brown, and local artists, healers, and businesses. We are excited to expand into our cafe-- With Your Help!
Thank you all that have supported as a customer or investor in our Honeycomb Credit campaign. We are at the last stretch of our build out process and need more funds to solidify the project so we can open our doors as a cafe! Our goal is February 2025 yall!
The d'griot team is working out a fabulous event to taste our new menu, listen to live music, and see the space. We will have a storytelling installation activity, networking opportunities, and space to voice what you want to see on Maplewood Mall.
We will have two time slots for folks to come thru. 11am-2pm and 4pm-7pm, to help with the flow and connect with more people our space can actually hold.
